Voldemort is tightening his grip on both the Muggle and wizarding worlds and Hogwarts is no longer the safe haven it once was. Harry suspects that dangers may even lie within the castle, but Dumbledore is more intent upon preparing him for the final battle that he knows is fast approaching. And Lavender Brown has decided that Ron is the one for her, only she hadn't counted on Romilda Vane's chocolates! And then there's Hermione, simmering with jealously but determined not to show her feelings. As romance blossoms, one student remains aloof. He is determined to make his mark, albeit a dark one. Love is in the air, but tragedy lies ahead and Hogwarts may never be the same again.

Thanks to ginnyholic for letting us know about HBP trailer. According to SnitchSeeker Warner Bros. Mexico has confirmed to BlogHogwarts that the official teaser trailer for Half-Blood Prince will be released on August 1, 2008.  Where it will be attached to the forthcoming movie The Mummy 3: Tomb Of The Dragon Emperor.

Also at Mugglenet; A MuggleNet reader who works at an IMAX theater has provided them with a description of the 15 second trailer, as well as the one line of dialogue attached in The Dark Knight.  You need to highlight it to able to read it.

Today Empire Online has now launched a preview of the August new edition of their magazine, which feature a photo of Harry from the upcoming Harry Potter and the Half-Blood Prince film graces the cover. The cover features a brand new photo of a bloodied and tattered looking Harry Potter (Dan Radcliffe), his glasses are cracked, and the headline reads “Bloody Hell: Harry Comes Out Fighting.”

Inside The preview excerpt reads “Dark times lie ahead for everybody’s favorite bespectacled wizard as he enters his penultimate year at Hogwarts. Having dealt with a tragic loss, a repeatedly resurrected nemesis and the awkward onset of puberty, Harry Potter’s six big-screen outing finds him entering into a new and fateful stage of his life. We talk to cast and crew about making magic, floating corpses and approaching the saga’s end. "

According to The Sun reports that in a new interview with Empire Magazine, Daniel Radcliffe compares Half-Blood Prince, has moments like the cult 1996 film Trainspotting:

“That’s two films I never thought would be mentioned in the same breath.”

Also according to MuggleNet from their reader Taylor tip that the teaser Trailer will be released with WB's The Dark Knight on July 18, 2008 in theater.

"I work at a movie theatre in San Francisco and we recently received our official word on print delivery for our IMAX print of Dark Knight. In the e-mail giving us the date of arrival they added that we could expect our Half Blood Prince trailer for that print to arrive two days after- over a week prior to the 12:01 a.m. release of Dark Knight!! Yay!!
